Summary
Not all men are created equal in life. That is a constant truth across the multiverse. Even those who seem fortunate at first glance can turn out to be some of the unluckiest.
Midoriya Izuku is one of those people. Born with what was thought to be a regeneration quirk, life was set for him to become the hero he always wanted to be. But life never goes as planned. Tragedy struck, a friendship was forever lost, and he forever has the label of a Villain. To top it off, life threw him one more curveball: Midoriya Izuku wasn't actually born with a quirk.
This child was born into the world, not as a quirked, but as a Mutant.

Summary
In another univere, Midoriya Izuku was born quirkless, the only gods who existed were two men who stood above everyone else in their respective primes, and Izuku was destined to take on the legacy of one of those men.
This isn't that universe.
Izuku is born with the ability to tap into the life force of actual gods, and once a particular Angel Attendant takes notice, the trajectory of Izuku's life is set to change forever.

Edit (04/21/2025): This fic has been orphaned, and the idea is up for adoption.
