...no one noticed the empty space under Harry's name in the Hogwarts' book of student's list. It was only a rather small gap, but a careful hand could easily have placed another name between Harry and the next student. In some other life, Professor McGonagall's keen eye would have caught this small oddity, but in this one, any possible thoughts and suspicions were erased from the witch's mind before they could even appear.
