In a world where the Creature found Victor back at the family estate without having had the fateful encounter with William and Justine, the Creature is somewhat less wrathful in his proposal, and Victor, somewhat more receptive to the idea.

Victor abandoned his life's work once, but can he truly abandon the underlying obsessions that began it all?

How will the Creature handle the mortifying ordeal of being known?

Can the two of them together bring a new being to life? Or will they destroy themselves and each other trying?

I have ADHD and when my hyperfixations interfere with my creative process it sometimes creates this intense, obsessive focus that I feel like someone from 200 years ago would potentially refer to as divine inspiration. With that in mind my concept for this series is basically that I don't think its very far off from cannon for Victor to be the same way about his research: obsessive (and also a workaholic and a major perfectionist). I wanted to take a Victor with these traits and make him have to Deal With His Shit by putting him in a position to work side by side with his creation. For bonus points the Creature gets to grapple with figuring out who he is when he's no longer alone, the endlessly confusing ordeal of How Socializing Works (with Victor) and coming to grips with the disappointment of a parental/guiding figure who fails to live up to expectations.
