Main relationships: Suki & Bato, Suki & Hakoda, Bato & Ty Lee.
There are mentioned canon pairings (Sokka/Suki - background, past Yue/Hahn - even more background, implied future Aang/Katara, past Kya/Hakoda, past Katara/Jet), but these characters are not really interested in romancing right now, so none of these are the focus of this story, it’s mainly friendship and/or platonic, so gen. There is one non-canon pairing that will be mentioned and it is Yue/Lu Ten, but it is also not the main point of this story and it happens far in the future chapters.
This story contains no incest or underage/adult. I don’t ship adults – especially Bato or Hakoda – with underage characters in this story, so if you see any of these, it is your mind talking, not mine. But yes, these two occasionally platonically share bed with various people and/or with each other.
This story is written for me. I’m not going to apologize, you read at your own risk, because it’s totally and absolutely self-indulgent. I only know the original cartoon, so this is not compatible with any comic books or sequel(s)/movies/natla/etc.
I’m not going to warn about canon characters’ death should any happen, for I don’t think it’s necessary considering the spiritual content of this universe. I also will not put any TW in the archive tags, but there will be the following themes included:
(#1) a discussion of an attempted rape that didn’t happen,
(#2) a brief mention of a rape that did happen,
(#3) a discussion of miscarriage, death of an unborn child, death during childbirth, an abortion/attempted murder of a child and an actual murder of an unborn child (these are all separate events).
None of the above happens on screen and nothing is described in detail, but it will be there, sooner or later, so you have been warned. Don’t like – don’t read.
You can also expect pretty much everything else canon compliant (especially child abuse of any kind).
More warnings (in random order): tooth rotting fluff, dialogue heavy(!) — they are just talking for most of the time, platonic bed sharing, cuddling, hands holding, more of platonic bed sharing, angst, temporary amnesia, bodyswap, cultural differences, legal and medical inaccuracies, hairstyling is important, firefighters are brave.
And last but not least: the author loves Bato = Bato will suffer the most in this story (= most of the TW apply to him).
