“Oh. That’s kind.” Hoxley said, turning around to face the whiteboard behind him, on which the details of the Endicott case were still on display. “But there’s nothing sexy about the silver medalist.”
In fact, Hoxley was quite attractive, a circumstance, Malcolm was sure, the older man was also very aware of. The fine clothes, the grey curls, the sharp, often mocking smile, and of course his intellect, his expertise in the field of profiling.
Malcolm would lie if he’d say that this was the first time in his life, he imagined certain things involving the famous profiler. Besides, he couldn’t actually remember the last time he got laid. So he decided to play along.
