Theoretically, everyone has a color and each is unique. The spectrum of visible light is, after all, a spectrum. Some get lucky, taking one of the beautiful infinite shades of emerald green or sapphire blue or, like Seongwoong, brilliant gold. Others, slightly less so. Still, Sanghyeok would have preferred a soft brown or pale yellow to the violent red he’s cursed to leave behind.
Or: Sanghyeok doesn't like his color. His teammates disagree.

If Junsik is being honest, he doesn't like the idea of soulmates. They're complicated, messy, and frankly, he thinks it's just a generations-long cycle of self-fulfilling prophecies created by some entity for amusement. So he goes into esports, telling himself he won't bother with soulmates at all, and he ignores the part of him that wants something. He comes out covered in color anyway.
