Summary
An old-fashioned video tape laid inside the box. A beat-up one, too, with scuffed edges and a crack in the casing. Packing tape plastered a paper label onto the front; drawn on which was the number “3,” and the asterism for Ursa Major. Ford’s brow furrowed. Ominous. He liked it already.
“Aw, no treasure,” Stan said, disappointed. “Looks like someone got really scared when they saw that anti-piracy warning on their bootleg movie. Back in the forties, or whatever.”
Beside the tape, a scrap piece of paper was half-folded, half-crumpled. It looked like something was written on it. Ford grabbed it and held it up to his eyes. “There’s a note too…”
“What’s it say?”
TL;DR - Ford and Stan are sent to Gravity Falls for the summer to live with their Grauntie Mabel. They don't expect much adventure, until they find a mysterious tape, buried in the woods...
