I had a headcanon that Castor and Pollux (Mr D's kids) are enemies to friends with Annabeth because Annabeth had been at camp for years and the twins (Probably) Have been there for longer.
So this is set two years before the lightning thief and Percy. Annabeth and the twins are 10
And basically the wine twins and Annabeth get eachothers gifts. But neither know until the end.
