Summary
The Isle of Strays is a refuge for lost faes. Neither Neil nor Andrew are really lost, still they are both allowed to set foot on the island, and soon their paths cross.
Neil remembered how Ichirou had talked about Andrew Minyard, Prince of Palmetto and Commander of the Paw: There had been a blinding hatred for the man who played a big part in defending Palmetto, but there had also been pure want. Edgar Allan's soldier faes were either cruel or afraid, but Andrew Minyard? Andrew Minyard loved his Queen, and he was willing to scorch the earth for her people. It was the kind of obedience Ichirou craved but rarely managed to incite in his people.
