Summary
When Kunikuzushi was born, he had shed no tears and his heart was stagnant, unbeating.
In exchange for her son to live, Ei gave to him her gnosis. He became the vessel for her divine tool, but he was too gentle, too weak. The gnosis gave him life, but at a cost.
Centuries passed, isolation and loneliness became a constant in his immortal life. That was until he met a red-eyed samurai who gave him everything he ever wanted.
Or, all that Kunikuzushi wanted was freedom, and Kazuha was willing to promise him that and more.

Summary
It was sacrilegious to gaze at the divine with concupiscent eyes and long to desecrate their beauty with tender bruises and deep kisses. But, Kazuha cared not for propriety, as beneath him laid the wonderful sight of the only deity he worshipped. Kunikuzushi, his lover, beckoned for their lips to meet and for their bodies to become one.
