Summary
"What is art, after all, but a protest against the horrible inclemency of life?"
At Night Raven College's annual art exhibition, 22 students receive Major Arcana tarot cards dictating their roles for a cultural festival. Strange incidents follow, connecting these roles to bizarre accidents. Riddle and Silver, the last year's highest scores are greatly framed into the incidentes. While Octavinelle investigates, they discover that fulfilling those roles isn't merely about the performance, but about unlocking ancient magic tied to the school's founding.

Summary
After unintentionally triggering war, the NRC students have to face their destinies as the incarnations of ancient entities. Each has been assigned a tarot card with which they must prove their worth as representatives. The opportunity for a peaceful life lies with them, the problem is that Riddle and Silver's duty conflicts with their ideals and desires.
