Summary
"A good thing?" Vi gaped at her, disgusted. Isha and Jinx were giggling now, but nothing about that night was funny. "In what world was bringing a kid to that a good idea? That fight was between you and me."
Jinx glanced over, sidelong. "You, me, and your girlfriend right?"
Vi tried not to seem so stung by that. Like even the mention of her didn't tear something open inside, something she couldn't even begin to explain. But the silence was all Jinx needed. She stood up as Vi went cold, turned her cheek.
"Ohh," Jinx sang, nodding like she understood now. She stood up behind her, crossed her arms. "Don't tell me that Piltie dumped you, because that would be really pathetic."

Summary
Vi seethed on her way to the ring, realizing now that she couldn't stand what she's become. The liquor didn't even make her happy anymore, it was just there to make everything else quiet.
That's all she wanted now, with all the shadows in this place tickling her fucking ear. She didn't want to hear it anymore. She didn't want to see every person she's ever lost in the corners of her eyes.
All Vi wanted to hear was that bell, ringing for blood.

the pitfighter arc. the spiral of heartbreak, hatred, and damage beyond repair. short tales of Vi when she's at her lowest, and if she ever really manages to climb her way back out.
