- Valt is the child with the heart of clear springs and the god of the Sun
- Shu is the child with the eyes of raging storms and the god of the Moon
- Hikaru is the Sun's apprentice, the Morning Star, and the god of Dawn
- Hyuga is the Sun's second apprentice, the Evening Star, and the god of Dusk
- Lean is the Moon's apprentice, the Eclipse, and the god of Darkness

Warning: Religion references, personal philosophy, blasphemy, allusions to violence and death. The author wrote this AU based on vague recollections of watching the anime years ago and from seeing a few, separate chapters of the manga, which means the characters may not be correct to either Hiro Morita's or Katsuhiko Akiyama's depictions.
