Summary
There were not many rules to this thing and the few that were there, were printed on a small card that he used as a bookmark. Daryl wasn’t sure why, but he liked to read them over before starting with the actual reading.
On the little card, it said:
1. Respect patient confidentiality. Do not disclose or inquire about personal details.
2. Use the approved reading material given to you unless told otherwise.
3. Arrive on time for your scheduled reading sessions
4. Do not touch the patients or interact with the medical equipment. Always follow staff instructions.
5. Sign in and out of each session in the volunteer logbook for record-keeping purposes.or
Daryl meets Rick in a hospital and becomes a little bit obsessed. (But honestly, can you blame him?)

Summary
“Will you come with me to visit my parents?” The question came out of nowhere, catching Daryl with a toothbrush in his mouth as he, instead of really brushing his teeth, glared into the mirror, grimacing at the sight of yet another patch of white whiskers on his chin.
“Wha-” The toothpaste spilled from his mouth, splattering his naked chest and quickly dripping lower and lower until it got soaked in the waistband of his pajama pants. He could see Rick’s amused expression through the mirror, his partner leaning against the doorway, his curls an absolute mess.
