“We shouldn’t be doing this,” Alicent blurted out. It felt so obvious, but still like something that needed to be said. For the both of them. Because maybe, maybe one of them would be strong enough to say “no,” to stop it before it was too late.
“It doesn’t have to mean anything,” Rhaenyra murmured, a soft finger trailing along Alicent’s jawline. “It can just be a little…fun. For both of us.”
Heat boiled in Alicent’s veins. Her hand twitched, eager to reach out and touch Rhaenyra, but she forced herself not to move. Seeming to sense Alicent’s thoughts, Rhaenyra chuckled.
“Kiss me,” she ordered. “We can start with just a kiss.”
