Summary
His fingers lightly brushed against the chain around her neck, tracing the curve of the ring hanging there.
“Where did you find this?” he asked, his voice quieter now, his tone unreadable.
Her hand instinctively rose to cover the ring, shielding it from him. “Does it really matter?”
Gin’s grin softened—no longer playful. “Didn’t think you’d keep it.”
Her fingers tightened. “Why wouldn’t I?”
He tilted his head slightly, his gaze dropping for a moment. “Seems like something you’d want to let go of,” he said quietly.
She shook her head. “I couldn’t,” she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.
Gin’s eyes met hers, and for a moment, the wall he always kept between them seemed to crack. But then he stepped back, his smile returning—smaller, more guarded.
“You should’ve,” he said, his tone light but his words heavy.

Summary
A canon-compliant story in Gin's POV after he wakes up in hell. He has no memory or recollection of who he is, where he is and what he is. Nonetheless, he is Gin. So he makes himself comfortable, forming alliances with weird beings, creating plans for strange escapes. And then there's this girl in his dreams who wouldn't leave him alone. She's annoying as this hell he's trapped in.
