If asked, Lucifer would deny the fact that he kept up with Heaven’s gossip.....But you see, Lucifer doesn’t lie.
He does very much keep up with Heavenly gossip. And when he heard from Gabriel that God was going to have a human son, he just had to see for himself. Someone had to be snarky about Father’s “plan,” after all, and it certainly wasn’t going to be any of the angels.
