Summary
Derek's voice betrayed a depth that Stiles didn't expect. It was true that Derek hadn't met Stiles and Scott on the best terms – but that had been years ago, and as far as Stiles was concerned, water under the bridge. There was no need to have it weigh on their minds in the present. There were more pressing matters to address.
...
Four years had passed since Stiles went to college to earn a degree in criminal justice. Now was the time for him to come home and restart his life in Beacon Hills. Little does he know that an enemy has been waiting in the shadows, and sooner or later, a dark past would catch up to him.
Note: This is the first entry in a four-part series. You can read each part on its own, but don't expect to understand everything right away. Stiles/Derek will be more prominent in the next part.

Summary
Derek had, of course, noticed the change in Stiles. Almost immediately, he could tell that something was wrong. They all did, to an extent. But Derek saw more. When he looked at the younger man, he saw a reflection of the same pain he once felt, the brooding darkness that had nearly eaten him alive. How could such a terrible state befall Stiles, and for what reason?
...
While shadows gathered in corners, a long-standing plan of prophecy closed in around Stiles. Will his friends help him escape, or will they doom him to his fate? Sometimes it takes only a single person standing in the way.
Note: This is the second entry in a four-part series. You can read each part on its own, but don't expect to understand everything right away. This part develops the Stiles/Derek relationship and the main plot of the story.

Summary
It was a tempting offer. Let go of the knife, step away, and run off somewhere. But what about after? Would the nightmares return, would he suffer like before? If what Keo said was true, then this was something he had to face. Besides, his friends were still trapped inside.
...
It was time for Stiles to awaken. Through thick and thin, with muck and grime – the only way out was through. Will he make it past all the bodies standing in his way? And more importantly – will his friends still recognize him on the other side?
Note: This is the third entry in a four-part series. You can read each part on its own, but don't expect to understand everything right away. WARNING: The second chapter has explicit gore. If you find it to be too much, you can just assume that Stiles saves the day ... somehow :)
