A Reader in the Stars by Duckiehuey
Fandom Firefly, Star Trek: Alternate Original Series (Movies)
22 Aug 2013
Summary
A crossover with Firefly and Star Trek 2009. There will be spoilers.
River Tam wakes up one day and finds herself in a different universe where being a reader doesn't automatically put her in danger. However her family has been taken from her and she creates a new life for herself.
However it appears the universe is not done with her yet and sometimes the best way to be part of a family is to make one - no matter which universe she lives in.
