While growing up, Dean Winchester had secretly dreamed of being an actor. With his looks, charm and somewhat talent he imagined he really could make it as a heartthrob. Even when he grew up to see that dream fade away into his closet of skeletons, watching tv in motel rooms offered him an opportunity to walk away from his not so mundane life.

Cas had watched humans since the very first day they’d been created, seeing their joys and sorrows without paying the measly creatures much mind. When he started living among them, television had been the thing to teach him their ways. Their lives and deaths seemed much more meaningful then, their thoughts and feelings so captivating.

Finding themselves in a television show, or two or a couple more, had not been accounted for by either of them. Even less accounted for was whatever chased them as they flipped channels, jumping from one story to another. Cryptic messages and confusing missions guided them, no end in sight.
