Summary
After disposing of the body, Armand tracked Daniel back to his apartment. Letting himself in with a thought, Armand had to pause in the entryway to collect himself in the face of Daniel’s scent, concentrated and sweet, signaling that he was ripe.

Summary

Daniel seemed to falter, his expressive face turning pained as he seemed to gather the courage to say, “All I ever wanted was for you to want to keep me.”
“I did. I do.” Armand said quickly. Of course he did. It’s why he had to let Daniel go, because he destroyed the things he loved, and it was also why he turned Daniel, because he was a selfish creature who could only really let go when someone else took his things away by force.
Armand has been Daniel’s for nearly fifty years, even when he wasn’t ready to acknowledge it. He is now, but Daniel has trouble believing him. Armand convinces him.
