Summary
Thinking about losing her blessing always filled Edna with uneasiness. Back when Eizen told her that he was leaving to find a way to erase his, she didn’t understand why would he want to lose a part of his identity as a malak, regardless of how twisted it was.
That, of course, went without knowing what they did now.
Eizen and Edna look for a cure for the Reaper's Curse. A certain normin helps them decipher a book that might contain the answers they are looking for, but these answers may not be what they wanted to hear.

Summary
Edna knew, in her heart of hearts, that the brother that she knew and loved was gone. Eizen was a dragon now: he looked like one, and he definitely acted like one. Yet something remained in Eizen’s reptilian brain that had brought him back to her, despite all his reasons to stay away, and that was something that Edna couldn’t bring herself to ignore.
There’s a price for everything, and that includes oaths. This one just happens to be hers to pay.
