Summary
Sanji feels eyes on him before he even hears the footsteps, and he sighs, leaning forward and resting his elbows on the rail. He could try to run, he knows, could jump over the rail and make his escape before whoever it is is upon him, but really what would be the point? It's not like he has anywhere to escape to.
A glance over his shoulder reveals one of Big Mom's Sweet Commanders, the big one with the tattoos and the scarf, and for the second time since arriving on Tottoland Sanji finds himself meeting golden eyes. The man's expression is blank, the greater part of his face hidden beneath the bulk of his scarf, but one glance at him is enough to tell this isn't going to be a friendly encounter.
"Don't worry." Sanji says, leaning against the rail and bringing his cigarette to his lips, breathing deep. He blows out a cloud of smoke, not meeting the man's eyes as he looks over the lower palace, counting the lights still on in the town below. "I'm not trying to escape."

Summary
Brûlée is the one who brings it to his attention first. "They're foisting off the runt of the litter on us." She says with a noise of disgust, slouching deeper into her chair. "You should hear them talk about him. Apparently the groom is a castoff, completely worthless. Some two-bit pirate they scrounged up just for the wedding."
The glance that Katakuri gets at the groom as the Vinsmoke's parade finally makes its way to Whole Cake Island only confirms it. The groom stands hunched and miserable amongst his brothers, and even from a distance the way he holds himself tenderly can be seen, bruises not as well hidden as the Vinsmokes would like to think.
A weakling, likely to be dead before the next week is out, Katakuri concludes with a noise of disgust, and dismisses him from his mind, turning away. No matter, it doesn't change anything if the groom is worthless. All he needs to do is stay alive until they can kill him themselves, and if he dies its not like they can't just replace him.
A nameless, faceless, forgettable weakling, Katakuri decides, and doesn't know until later how very wrong he is.

Summary
Sanji can feel Katakuri's gaze, can feel the weight of it on his skin, prickling, and when he breaths out another column of smoke and turns, head turning to meet his eyes, he isn't surprised to find Katakuri looking. There's a familiar edge to his gaze, a familiar sort of heat to it that leaves Sanji's skin feeling flushed and sensitive beneath his suit as he leans back against the rail and brings the cigarette back to his lips, meeting Katakuri's eyes and not looking away.
Katakuri's gaze flicks down, his head tilting as he meets Sanji's eyes. Sanji knows he's remembering the last time they stood together beneath the moonlight, the way Sanji's mouth had tasted on his as he kissed him goodbye. Remembering what exactly had happened the night before that. And oh, it's satisfying to see the heat in his gaze, the hunger, even so many months later. It's been more than half a year since then, and yet Katakuri's gaze is just as sharp as ever, just as hungry, just as intent.
"You know," Sanji says as he leans back. "We did talk about what would happen if we had all night."
Katakuri's eyes darken, going sharp and predatory, and he inclines his head, his voice coming in a deep rumble. "We did."

Summary
"Dating." Sengoku says flatly, tone bordering on incredulous. Koby resists the urge to wince, forcing himself to stand up straight and meet Sengoku's eyes. Of everything he's been through in the last few days, this is supposed to be the easy part. It doesn't feel like it.
"Dating." Koby confirms with a nod, because you can't really say to your superior officer yeah, they looked like one minute away from fucking on the beach in front of all of us and already I got an eyeful more than I wanted.
