Summary
Stiles is shocked speechless and then driven to foot-in-mouth ramblings, not because of the smoke and flames and the explosion, no, it's not the fire, at all - instead it's the firefighter getting him out of there, the man with burn scars covering half his face - which Stiles didn't even notice at first.
Luckily, even with one foot in his mouth, he still has another to kick himself into action and take care of the following misunderstanding.

Summary
When there is a fire at his apartment building in the middle of the night, Stiles has his priorities straight - or so his brain tells him, running on far too much lack of sleep and far too little adrenaline or caffeine or, you know, sleep.
It leads to an interesting discussion with his neighbor, who is not quite as straight - that is, who has different priorities, such as Stiles' night attire and place to sleep.
