It’s from Jaehyun, as expected, and a glance at the time confirms it's within the brief hours of phone use time he has in the military. The message itself, though, is not what Johnny expected. There’s a screenshot of the Instagram post that Johnny made with Byeon Wooseok followed by a solitary question mark. Punctuation has never looked so damning.

And yet, he never fully shakes it. That lingering burn in his chest when he thinks about how much time Jaehyun spends daily with Seungyoun never really leaves Johnny, even when he gets Jaehyun panting into the phone about how he’s Johnny's and no one else will ever be able to satisfy him as well as him. It’s the damn truth, and Johnny knows it. But he can’t pry away the uneasiness as the time apart makes his stupid spiral continue.
