Character Settings

Peruere
This AU’s Arlecchino—though she has yet to claim that name. She became a Harbinger at sixteen, alongside Clervie. An Alpha, feared under the nickname “The Knave’s Beast.” She handles the Tsaritsa’s and the House of the Hearth’s dirtiest work, driven mostly by a deep hatred for anyone who preys on children.

Clervie
An Omega who survived in this AU and rose to the rank of Harbinger, entrusted with the task of “taming” Peruere. She wields a Hydro Delusion which, after fully bonding with Peruere, mysteriously evolves into a Vision. Fiercely stubborn, especially when it comes to protecting her “family.”

Scaramouche
The Balladeer. Unlike in canon, he chooses to remain a Harbinger even after learning the truth of Tatarasuna, convinced by Nahida that erasing his existence would only cause the universe to replace him with another, leaving Tatarasuna’s fate unchanged. A close friend of Peruere, he’ll help her when she truly needs it—though he’s also her number one source of teasing and irritation.
