Unfortunately, they did eventually need to wake up. And wake up they do, immediately trying to rise from the table to find their face covering. 2BDamned doesn't allow it, rushing to their side to attempt guiding them back down while telling them all about how that movement could quickly create ruptures and undo all of his hard work.

Summary
There are a lot of things that 2BDamned can grow used to. Recurring threats, staring and hissing and pushing and shoving. He draws the line at harm done to his person, and when Hank snaps their teeth at him during a particularly hard day, nicking his skin on their incisors, he's reached his limit.
Emotions reach their boiling point, and no one will go down without a fight. For day two of angst week 2025; "Why am I everyone's last choice?"

Summary
2BDamned isn't surprised or disturbed by the numbers that glare back at him from the corner of the screen, merely frustrated. His acute awareness of the human brain's necessity for sleep always just had to put a stop to his work. As much as he would love to stay awake through to when there would be a hypothetical sunrise, it'd only serve to make him less capable tomorrow— and he has to be capable every waking moment, so that's out of the question.
Late into the night, 2BDamned updates his medical logs. For day three of angst week 2025; "I'm so fucking tired."

Summary
Deimos is used to seeing people interact with Sanford as if they went back years, although.. he can't say anyone has ever touched him before. He can't say anyone has clapped their hand on Sanford's shoulder, or brought up how there are 'other options' should they not possess any desirable objects, or made Sanford, tough rough and tumble Sanford, shrink in on himself and freeze.
Oh. So it was going to be like that.

Summary
Sanford looks to 2BDamned and Deimos, both enraptured in some talk of agency coding and how moronic all of their field agents are. His gaze shifts to the one beside him, Hank, who appears to be listening intently. Then it moves downward to their half-drank bottle, on the floor beside the leg of their chair, completely out of their vision and unguarded.
S.Q looks out for one another, much to the chagrin of one desiring self-destruction. For day six of angst week 2025; "I don't even know you anymore."
