Dali was the first to stir. He was a light sleeper – likely from the constant need of tending to his children – so it was no surprise when, at the first sign of movement, he blinked his eyes open, forcing away his sleep.
“Ra…phael…?”
A deep whine, almost like a growl, responded, and Dali was suddenly very aware of what was going on.
It wasn’t one of the children, fussing about using the bathroom late at night. Far from it. Instead, he felt a pair of elegant arms wrap even tighter around him from behind, the sound of panting much more obvious now that he was awake.Or; Gerhard has a wet dream. Which is fine, except he's sharing a bed with Dali. Sleepy sex ensues.

Summary
They knew the limitations of their relationship. It was mutually beneficial, but they must be confined exclusively to solitary afternoons in the Delico estate. No strings attached, no staying for the night, and most importantly, no words spoken to anyone else. They both knew it was for the best of their reputations.
But reputation be damned, it drove Dali insane.
Or; Dali and Gerhard have a secret relationship. And Dali hates keeping secrets.
