Welcome one and all to another Time Travel AU! As per usual, our favorite asthmatic Sith Lord gets blasted into a completely different timeline because the Force said so! More specifically, far, far away from any galactic events which have to do with him! Instead, Darth Vader finds himself saving a random Mandalorian on some planet he doesn't recognize. The name Jaster Mereel tells him absolutely nothing, but all is as the Force has willed it! This definitely won't result in accidentally creating the Galactic Empire all over again, almost becoming the Mand'alor, or driving Palpatine entirely insane! Nope...Vader has no plans to somehow wind up adopting his former master later in life, or driving the Jedi Council up the wall! I'm sure everything is going to be just fine...

I've been planning this AU for a long while, and am trying an experimental style of non-Vader POV despite him being the main character. Take a look at the notes for what you can expect from each fic in the series, and feel free to drop a follow despite my inconsistent update schedule!

I'll keep these brief for right now, since I have no idea how many books in total this AU is actually going to get.

Jaster Mereel prepares for death after being betrayed on Korda Six, but a mysterious and armor-clad Sith Lord just so happens to save his life at the last possible second. "The Will of the Force", Darth Vader says, as if that isn't the biggest osik Jaster has heard in literal years. With Death Watch having found out the hard way why one shouldn't piss of the evil magic space wizard, he needs to think of some way to reclaim the Darksaber, keep his son safe, and hopefully stop Mandalore's history from repeating itself. What Jaster doesn't know however, is that he'll find himself embarking on a quest to accidentally save the Universe by befriending his prickly local Dar'jetii, and allegedly falling in love.

With his Darksaber problem now resolved, and Mandalore surprisingly not having spontaniously exploded while he was taking a nap, Jaster Mereel finds himself following Darth Vader on a Galaxy-wide expedition to recover lost Sith artifacts...and absolutely isn't geeking out from all the cool ruins they're visiting! This is apparently the fate of all the mystical Force osik at stake, and he can't afford to get distracted by old ceremonial carvings and hidden relics. If they just so happen to find an ancient Jedi Master who might have the answers Vader is seeking...well, Jaster wasn't expressly forbidden from asking a couple questions. Celeste Morne however, doesn't seem very happy to indulge him...
