Mindlessly flipping through page after page, Kokichi stopped in his tracks as he saw the title of a sonnet that caught his eye. “Sonnet 71..” He whispered, his fingers lightly touching the edge of the chapter title before flipping it to read the poem.
Slowly scanning the words, he found himself thinking back to a time that was much simpler, much more.. Calm and happy. When he had been calmer and happier.
In the headquarters of his organization, where he and his family stayed, where they worked and spent time together, where they held each other — through tears and happiness — where they talked, ate, and laughed together; when the world was a little kinder to Kokichi than it was now.
In which Kokichi finds a book with a poem whilst researching in the library.
