Summary
Like many aspiring teachers, Nick got into teaching because of big dreams and youthful idealism. He wanted to make a difference. To never repeat the same mistakes his teachers made at Truham. To become a safe space for young students. To nip bullying in the bud, and to instil empathy and emotional intelligence early on.
But he hadn’t taken a lot of things into account. His noble aspirations were too bright to let him see things realistically.
Nick definitely hadn’t pictured his teaching job turning out like this — a fucking disaster.last update did something to me — and this fic was born during two sleepless nights.

Summary
Nick has always craved safety, gentleness and sometimes, the sweet surrender of giving up control. With Charlie, he finally finds a place gentle enough to hold his deepest wants and rough enough to feed his secret hunger. One night, in the quiet of a too-small bed and a flat that isn’t quite home yet, they discover how giving up control can be another way to say 'I love you'.
