Summary
A nameless, ostentatious suitor challenges Azul, the head oiran of the district, for her hand in marriage. To win the oiran, the suitor is faced with two challenges, the first being a formal game of shogi. The second unravels itself midst the battle of wit: a curious, perplexing relationship that the oiran shares with her two executioners, a fact that may have doomed this challenge from the very beginning.
