Summary
James and Sirius had hoped Betty and Harry would grow up like siblings. However, the deaths of Lily and James, and Sirius’ imprisonment, shattered that plan--and Betty and Harry only meet when he starts at Hogwarts.
Despite this, they slowly grow close over the years, with Betty providing Harry the emotional support he often needs. Gifted and trained from a young age, she fights quietly alongside him, drawn into Dumbledore’s secret war against Voldemort as one of his pawns. While standing by Harry's side, she also struggles to find her own identity and questions the privileges and expectations placed on her.
