  Summary

  Rogue Trader Theodora von Valancius was without heirs, and as such, she began her search for distant relatives to be scrutinized and molded into the perfect candidate to take over her dynasty.
  One of the prospective heirs was the Calixian (former) Crime Lord, Lucien Solaine, who found himself in unfamiliar territory on a foreign voidship, where his job was now to prove himself worthy of the role.

  Aka the self-indulgent story of my (not yet) Rogue Trader and his time serving under Theodora. In his canon, the events of the prologue happen later than in game, and this is my attempt to rewrite it into the story that I want for him.

  Summary

  Before Theodora's death, before the betrayal that awaited them, the former Crime Lord Lucien von Valancius had been recruited to her retinue as a potential heir.
  Abelard Werserian reflects on his feelings towards the young heir, and the inappropriate tension that stands between them. Until Lucien shows up on his doorstep one night.
  That was the night that would start a complicated affair between the two men.
