Summary
He returns every time, like an abused animal that comes back to its owner simply because it knows nowhere else to go.
Nanook doesn’t say anything as he watches him, eyes sharp and unforgiving. Words are superfluous here; he has never needed them to make Phainon obey.
Perhaps in the beginning, when he first fixed his gaze on him, marking him as his next target. But not now, not anymore. Phainon’s long beyond saving.
“Come here.”
Home is a place that brings comfort. Home is a place that holds sweet memories.
Nanook carved his name into Phainon's skin, took everything away from him and called it love. Phainon knows he should run, should get away from him as far as he can. And yet, he keeps coming back.
As there is no one else for him to run to, as there is no other place for him to call home.Series

Nanook is not meant to feel. Not sorrow, not compassion, certainly not curiosity. Yet when THEY see him, a mortal ablaze with perfect, beautiful hatred, something ancient and dangerous stirs. And once THEY begin to watch, THEY cannot stop.

Summary
Nanook is not a careless Aeon, THEY have always been generous in sharing their power. THEY gaze far and wide across the universe, seeking only the most marvellous creatures. But patience is not one of THEIR great strengths or an attribute that THEY deem to be of virtue. THEY are not willing to wait for an eternity to see THEIR chosen ones grow and mature.
And yet, here THEY are, waiting. Waiting and observing what will become of Neikos496. Or Phainon, as he prefers to call himself. Or the Deliverer, a title bestowed upon him.
As this variable is truly a curiosity, one that has captured THEIR attention.
Nanook gazes upon Amphoreus and finds the most fascinating creature there.

Summary
“I’ll go.”
As he steps forward, the silence around him is deafening. All eyes turn to him; a few gasps like sharp cracks break the air.
“That is… if you will have me.”
Khaslana takes another step, his heart beating like a drum in his chest. His face hardens, his jaw sets, before he drops onto his knees.
“Your Majesty,” he whispers, each syllable forced through his teeth as he lowers his gaze onto the blood-soaked ground. From the corner of his eye, he can see his brother struggling in the man’s hold.
“Khas—” Phainon's voice cuts off, silenced by the hand on his neck. Khaslana inhales deeply, lowers his head, then presses his forehead into the dirt.
“Please, King of Adlivun, the Blemished one. Take my life instead of my brother’s.”
Khaslana, a fierce warrior of Aedes Elysiae, offers himself to the tyrant of Adlivun to save his younger brother. Initially filled with hatred and defiance, Khaslana expects Nanook to be a cruel man. Instead, he is surprised to find a thriving kingdom and a king loved by his people.
