Summary
After lunch was eaten, the three sat around the tv while Tim and Austin battled each other in Call of Duty. Lucy sat cheering them both on with Kojo at her feet. They were all a little surprised when Tyler came walking out and plopped down on the couch.
“You feeling better bud?” Tim pauses the game so he can give his other nephew attention.
“Mostly,” he shrugs, “Tired of lying in bed though. Who’s winning?” Lucy and Austin laugh.
“Me of course. Uncle Tim seems like he’s on a suicide mission like always.” He just shakes his head and unpauses the game, trying to get back at Austin but of course having no luck.

Summary
Thinking maybe it was just her stomach upset, she tried to get up to go use the bathroom but instantly yelped as the pain only intensified as she tried to even just sit up in the bed.
All of that had woken Tim up and it only took him less than a minute to realize something was wrong. “Luce? You okay?” His voice filled with concern as he’s still trying to wake up.
“I… I’m—“ she was about to lie and say she was fine but another wave of pain interrupted her and now she knew there was no point in lying to him. “I’m in a lot of pain and I don’t know why.” She finally spits out, trying to lay back down but winces again.

She wants to laugh, he can see it on her face but she doesn’t. Instead her face softens. “You’d really do that for me?”
He doesn’t hesitate, “Of course I would, Lucy. This is important to you and I don’t want you to miss it.”
