  Summary

  The USCSS Nostromo and its crew had proven that alien lifeforms do exist in the vast expansion that is outer space; however, this was no cause for celebration-- only a couple would survive to tell the tale, and one of them was essentially a walking corpse.

  One thought continuously ran through Ripley's mind, shutting out all others; does normal even exist anymore after this?

  a short story I thought up over dinner (lol) where Kane manages to survive the chestburst, and he and Ripley have to try and adjust to somewhat every day life back on Earth again.
