“I received a call.” Polite. Even. Controlled. “The hospital needed an adult family member.”
Sherlock scoffed weakly. “You could’ve ignored it.”
Mycroft ignored the sting. “That isn’t what one does when one’s brother overdoses.”or

Greg answered without thinking, still shrugging out of his coat.
“Yeah? What’s up?”
There was a breath. A hitch.
“I think—I think I… I think I need help…”
Greg froze. Everything inside him went cold.
“Mycroft? What happened? Where are you?”
