Summary
“Home!” Perpetua lunges and clings to your frame. His clawed hands pawing at you, tail wagging a mile a minute and rubbing his face all over you.
It makes you laugh. “Yes, home.” You scratch behind his ear and he groans in pleasure, leaning into the touch. It's so canine like that you can't help yourself. You cup his face with both hands. “Who's my good boy?”
Perpetua looks up into your eyes with the most sincere expression. “Me?”

Summary
There is something inherently inhuman about Perpetua. You'd known that from the moment you'd set eyes on him.
His body is lithe and awkward. Limbs seemingly almost too long for his body. At least that's the way it seems with his clawed hands. As lovely as they are, you're all too aware of how easily they could slice through you. The same goes for his teeth which are exceptionally long. It's strange, but his pointed ears and boney tail are actually two of the most normal things about him. Not something you thought you'd ever be saying about someone.
