Description:

A collection of stand-alone stories that have a thread running through them that can be interpreted as Renard/Juliette and are all arranged around a loose mood related to Joseph Brodsky's essay "On Grief and Reason" about Robert Frost's poem "Home Burial".

"Don't--don't go.
Don't carry it to someone else this time.
Tell me about it if it's something human."

Most of the series will behind a login.

Notes:

Renard went to boarding school in Europe and spent time in Russia. And he's a cop. The notion he wouldn't have cigarettes stashed in his house is just silly to me. And he has money, so the notion that he wouldn't have a Mossberg under his bed is inconceivable. And he's in Oregon, so I'ma bet he's got a 9mm Hellcat in a cc holster in his waistband loaded with some nice local artisanal jacketed hollowpoint Nosler, baby.
