"You may join," Aizawa muttered, scratching absently at the stubble along his jaw, "just don't get in my way."
"Thank you." The blond-haired man smiled warmly and extended his hand. "My name is Yagi. Yagi Toshinori."
Aizawa stared at the man's hand briefly, before shaking it. Large and roughened by callouses from hard won battles, the rogue could only assume. If the warrior was as experienced as he described himself, perhaps he could complete the contract with less trouble. The faster they were finished, the faster they could be on their own merry way.

A Dungeons & Dragons/Dungeon Meshi-inspired take on the BNHA Fantasy AU. Aizawa is a weary rogue who finds himself with an unlikely companion when he takes up his latest contract by a guild elder trying to rid a group of bandits occupying one of the neighbouring dungeons. Though having long given up trying to adventure with a party, Aizawa begrudgingly lets the strange warrior, Yagi Toshinori, follow along. Can the two of them survive this adventure? This mysterious warrior doesn't seem to be who he says he is.

Summary
It was a far cry from any inn Yagi had likely stayed at, Aizawa thought, though the two of them weren't on vacation–or at least one of them wasn't. The remainder of the chamber was cramped, with barely enough space for a side table on one side and a small dresser and stool on the other. Luckily, it seemed there would be more than enough space for the two of them.
Yagi stopped in the room, crowding behind Aizawa as he took in the layout and set down his bag. The older man made no mention of the single bed, besides a brief comment that he was thankful his legs wouldn't be poking off the lightly cushioned mattress. Aizawa tried to shake off the tinge of embarrassment creeping up his person.
