Some stories take place within the first chaotic hours of The Awakening. Others unfold days or weeks later, as institutions, medicine, and people begin to adapt.

The reading order is intentional and thematic rather than linear. Early stories may reference events that appear “later” in the series, and calmer stories may be set after more volatile ones.

This is on purpose. The Awakening does not happen evenly.

Each fic stands alone, but together they trace how the same moment fractures into very different experiences -- chaos, care, collapse, choice -- depending on who you are and who you’re with.
