Summary
Damug Warfang, Firstblade of all Rapscallions. Leader, warlord, fighter, superstitious and cruel. He has killed men for less, so why does he let this strangely dressed, foul-mouthed pretty boy speak to him so casually? So irreverently? Does he keep this... this THING around for entertainment or because he seems to know the land and landmarks better than any tracker Damug has ever seen?
Or perhaps, it's because for once, Damug doesn't taste boredom and duty in the air when he looks into those eerie blue eyes.
Vince is just happy to be alive.

Summary
Damug Warfang, Firstblade of all Rapscallions, has a problem and that problem is 5'5'' with eerie blue eyes, a foul mouth, and an attitude that sets Damug's teeth on edge. That problem happens to also be the new Seer of the Rapscallion army and the only man that Damug would ever walk away from a kill for. And by the Wind and the Waves, Damug wants him badly.
Vince has returned to the Rapscallions, his short stint in Redwall Abbey allowing a new perspective on the tribe. But with Damug being an absolute brat, Vince might find himself breaking the warlord sooner than anyone expected.

Summary
Separated from Damug and the Rapscallions, alone, and torn from the only world where he had ever felt real - Vincent Grey now has to contend with his most arduous and difficult challenge to date. Mundanity.
After months in Mossflower, he has trouble readjusting to his own world and his own memories. But even still, small things seem... different. Changed. Permanently altered.
With Vince's pyre ashes and his body burned, Damug sets his sights on the Corpsemakers and avenging his fallen seer. But he can't do it alone. He swallows his pride and moves with purpose, refusing to let Vince's death be yet another benchmark in a story forgotten by time. This time, he will burn the forest to the fucking ground, tear Ferahgo's heart out with his bare hands, and show the Corpsemakers why they should have prayed that the Rapscallions had stayed at sea.
