Summary
Jericho Swain has overthrown Darkwill and by doing so destroyed his own House. The other noble Houses of Noxus watch from the shadows as Swain plots his next move.
House Du Couteau do not watch, nor do they wait to see what will become of them. So, with her husband’s permission, Soreana Du Couteau takes the bright-eyed Cassiopeia to Shurima where she will learn the ways of the royal courts and foreign diplomacy.
Marcus Du Couteau has no such honourable intentions and only cares about the future of his House and the ancient way of the Blade. Therefore, he takes his two successors to the cold untamed land of the North where no one will find them. He takes them to Freljord.
