Summary
He remembered, now, the promise he made to Chuck.
He broke that promise.
He hadn't saved Chuck.
But remembering that broken promise made Thomas remember the unbroken one he'd made to Newt.
So Thomas silently vowed to survive, if only to make Newt happy.
Because that's what Newt deserved.
