Summary
He pushes the door open slowly, expecting silence. A part of him was relieved to hear the strumming on Eddie’s guitar, it meant he hadn’t taken off alone to partake in more destructive habits than David had himself. He closes the door behind him, and the playing stops abruptly.
Eddie was standing there, cheeks a brighter red than David’s ever seen on him before. There’s a lot going on that he’s never seen before, actually.
Eddie looked panicked, clutching the guitar to his chest protectively. His eyes were wide and different looking, mascara applied unevenly and eyeliner that extended a little too far for Dave’s liking.
