Summary
Joyce and Hopper bought a new house together about a block from The Wheeler’s much to Will and Mike’s excitement. Since everything had gone down earlier the two were attached at the hip, so much so that both Karen and Joyce had commented on how it reminded them of when they had been little boys.
They were always together now, but it seemed almost everyone else was too wrapped up in their own lives to notice any difference, which is why Nancy Wheeler was so surprised when she walked into the basement to do laundry only to find Will and Mike on the couch trying to devour each other's faces.
“Holy crap!” Nancy yelled as she dropped the basket of dirty clothes at her feet before immediately turning around and she was about to run back up the stairs until she heard Mike call out her name.
“Nancy, wait!” Mike said after he separated himself from a blushing Will, who was staying silent, hoping if he didn’t make a noise or move he could suddenly become invisible.

“We could do it on Thursday, I could tell my mom I want to go out for dinner for my birthday and say I want to invite you guys as a thank you for letting me stay when the house was being rebuilt or something. I could ask your mom to help plan something so Jonathan and Nancy can take Holly out, she has been begging to hang out with El.” Mike explained like he had already thought out everything.
“Well aren’t you just the man with a plan,” Will teased as he kissed Mike’s cheek, “I think that’s a great idea. Do you want to run it by my mom tonight?”
