  Summary

  If Dan didn’t know any better, he would think everyone must feel the same way about courtship and marriage. That it was essentially a business deal, a partnership stricken for the best interest of both parties, and at best, a friendship. He would think of “romantic love” as a concept akin to fantasy, for literature and poetry and imagination and not for real. Of course, not for real.
