She only touches the cafeteria foods on emergencies. “It’s not worth it. People will get over it and you’ll soon be assimilated to become one of us. Resistance is futile.”
Scotty brightens. “Trekkie?”
“Trekker,” Stiles corrects, smiling widely. Not a bad choice to give this one a chance, she thinks.
