He already knows what he will find, Vox had been in the very center of the blast after all, but he looks anyways. One final gloat, one final farewell as he leaves the past behind.
Unfortunate, that he was never good at goodbyes.

I saw a textpost on Tumblr with this premise, and decided to write something short about it.
Alastor suffers the consequences of being violently electrocuted many times in a short timeframe in the form of arrythmias. It just so happens that a particularly bad attack hits him right in the middle of a conversation with Charlie.
